SPECIAL REFLECTION FROM THE PASTOR

"Still Focused:  This Winter's snowy season reminds us of challenges that come and interrupt our schedules but NOT our FOCUS! One of the posers in focus allows us to keep pressing toward the mark (Focus). The last month or so it seem like we have been moving but getting nowhere. It's like "wilderness wandering"  Could this be for us at CCBC: GOD;s way of giving all of us a taste of the wilderness wandering so that all of us can appreciate the wilderness experience so etched in the early history of this church as we celebrate 38 years. Could be!  Deacon James Lewis and Sis. Rowena Fuller used to lead the choir and church in singing that old spiritual "Tell Me How Did You fell When You Come Out The Wilderness Leaning On The Lord" .  We have had to make adjustments, but we are still focused.

FOCUS GROUP - ALL YOUTH - Led by Rev. Kevin Haynesworth and Deaconess Charmaine Haynesworth.  The focus is to develop potential leadership in all levels of Pente-Ministries. Second and Fourth Fridays.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER GROUP - Pray for this Church before GOD, daily.  Intercessory prayer partners - praying weekly with New Disciples.

STEWARDSHIP ENVELOPES: Please remember to pick up your envelopes in the Church Office.

*Child Coverage CHIP Church Helps In Protection).  Keep your child in Church with you. There is something to be observed and said about the COVERING PROTECTION by GOD.

*TITHING SUNDAY for all members is every 1st Sunday   Have you Given The Lord His Tithe yet?  Do so and help us exceed this month! If you were not here the last First Sunday, are you giving your Tithe when you return.

*LINE DANCING AS EXERCISE Pump up the cardiovascular system, increase your metabolism, firm up, work out and enjoy every minute of it. Come early because the class fills up quickly. Enjoy an opportunity to frangelize with the many members of the community who are flocking to CCBC. Time - Mondays from 6 to 7 PM.

ENCOURAGEMENT  Encourage one another in the Lord! Spiritual Warfare is every day!  Be faithful.

Pente-Ministry of Ministries:  (Matthew 25:31-40)  The Men's Discipling Ministry is reaching out to men in order to remind them of physical and spiritual health issues.  Other ministries are also reaching out to their target groups.  We are planning in your name to reach out to the youth and families in this neighborhood using structured recreational activities that are tied to academics.  Khalil Bundy has committed himself to lead this outreach and it should be in place by spring 2010.

ALWAYS HAVE A MINISTRY
